Provenance. Grattan Freyer, Irish Potter and former apprentice of Leach & manager of Wenford Bridge Potteryin 1948 during Michael Cardew\'s absence in ghana. made during a visit by Leach when visiting freyer and his wife at Wenford Bridge in 1948.
