£SOLD |
One of the most iconic of country pottery figures are these pottery Lions , for a long time attributed to Pill Pottery Bristol, but recently reattributed to the Pill Pottery Pillgwenlly, Newport South Wales c.1830
A striking pair of large-sized pottery male lions modeled in repose on raised retalangular bases. Made by H.Davies, at the Pill Pottery in Newport, South Wales.
