MARY TAYLOR, Eastnor School 1882.
A School sampler very much of its period with its "Gothic" Style lettering almost mirroring The Gothic castle built by Earl Somers in the village. And the corner motifs lower case letters similar to that produced in the Bristol orphanages.
Mary Elizabeth Taylor was born 1869 to Elizabeth & George Taylor farmers of 14 Acers,. She married George Owen Wingfield in 1897, they had one son. She died aged 75 in 1945.
