This is a hand carved model of a fish made on Pitcairn Island.
Stamped to body is the text “A souvenir from Pitcairn” .Nicely mounted on a stand. Date probably middle part of the 20th century.
Length 9 ½, Height 7 ¼ inches.
Good condition for an antique hand carved wood item. Note old repair to tail fins and what may be damage to first two top spikes of upper fin..
