Every picture tells a story !, this wonderful late 19th century watercolour depicts the BOWLING GREEN INN , that was at 54 Canal Street Nottingham , and was pulled down circa 1894. The landlord a Mr Samuel Pogson, himself was a regular story teller appearing in a number of periodicals and newspapers of the time "Stories of an Innkeeper".
