The "Bounty" anchor, cast overboard by Fletcher Christian and his eight fellow mutineers in 1790, was recovered in 1957, and is today is set up in the "Public Square" on Pitcairn Island. Fred Christian left, and Parkin Christian, right both 85 years old, are the great-great-grandsons of Fletcher Christian, and the closest living link on Pitcairn to the "Bounty" mutineers.
