We have always liked objects that evoke a period or moment in time. this sailors woolwork picture depicting the flags of united nations, and sailing a yacht on a lazy summer's day is dated on the back Xmas 1913, just months before the start of Wold War 1 , when everything changed !.
Worked in coloured wool and some metal thread, the yacht with padded sails. Retains its original frame measuring 37 x 36.5 cm |
