A very fine early 19th century School work sampler, retaining its original frame, measuring only 16 x 22 cm.
Elizabeth was baptised 17.5.1820 St.Michaels Aldershott. To John & Elizabeth Strovold. She appears to have a older Brother 'Richard John' (b.1816) a Yeoman. She possibly married a Phillip Alfred Thirlwell in 1863 and had one son George in Woolwich. |
