WICKER PLATE BUCKET |
£445 |
WICKER PLATE BUCKET. c.1820.
George II & III Mahogany Plate buckets are well recorded, and traditionally thought of as being Irish. Brass & iron examples are also known, but we have found no examples of wicker examples surviving. Traditional basket weave with a tin lining probably from the early 19th Century. Interestingly found in Wales an object from the not quite grand house. !. |
