Unusual Cow group produced in a buff coloured creamware body, as is the small calf. The figure of the farmer in creamware. The farmer figure has additional decoration in pratt ware colours, the cow and calf in black, as is the sponge decoration on the base.
This style of group is usual attributed to Yorkshire, circa 1820.
Height 14 cm, length17 cm.
Condition Head brocken through neck, this and horns restored. |
