Very rare large piece of sponge ware. Decorated in four colours and including 13 bands of decoration. A very impresive piece.. Impresed mark of a Bell (Goddern 319) for the Scottish pottery of J.&M.P.Bell Glasgow, circa 1860.
Height 9 inch 23 cm. Maximum diameter 6 1/4 inch 16 cm.
Condition Good, some age related staining and discolouration. No restoration.
