Ada was born to Beaufoy & William a grocer & cheese monger in 1875. she married one William Charles Gurney of Bridge in 1908 , an accountant / Government officer moving later in life to Walthamstow in the 1939 census she is recorded as 75 and working as an unpaid domestic , how many of us can relate to this ! |
